1869, Innovation:
Joseph Vifian founds his wood workshop.
1928, Foundation:
Second generation Otto Vifian expands the workshop into a mechanical joinery.
1995, 4th generation
After office furniture, Vifian shows home furniture for the first time at IMM Cologne in 1995.
1996, home furniture:
Hannes Vifian takes over the company management. Vifian now covers the most important areas of furniture production with interior design, home furniture and office furniture.
2017, Change of management:
Hannes Vifian brings the experienced specialist Christian Petrini on board.
2019, Realignment:
Hannes Vifian hands over the operational management to Petrini.

It all began with the versatile profession of carpentry. It forms the basis of Vifian and has made it possible to realise ideas from the design to the end product since the company was founded. Whether creating furniture or designing and implementing entire customised interiors – our carpenters are at the forefront of every project.
In addition to wood, we work with various plastics, metal and numerous other materials. Innovation and creativity are our daily companions. Modern machinery and highly digitalised creative processes allow us to optimise production in the long term. With constructive understanding, a feeling for spaces and shapes, we create unique living and working environments in all dimensions – always with a focus on craftsmanship.
Maintaining an overview, supervising departmental managers and employees, supporting production at all levels from cutting to delivery – our production manager is a real all-rounder!
Real quality can be seen in clean interfaces. Our production manager ensures this in many ways. He acts as an important link between the project manager, purchasing and production, and is an excellent coordinator with a role model function.
Complex projects require good organisation and a lot of experience. When it comes to maintaining an overview at all times, our project managers take a strategic approach. Planning, implementation and coordination are in the service of quality assurance and take place in the closest exchange with the client.
Leadership always means being one step ahead, which is the only way to guide a team efficiently. In project management, we therefore attach great importance to clear communication, direct decision-making channels and forward-looking processes.
Our designs are not only sustainable, durable and of high quality, they are also often custom-made. This makes it all the more important that experienced experts take on the demanding assembly work with a keen eye for detail.
